ARGE involved with CEN/TC350

ARGE was appointed as Liaison member of CEN/TC350 and WG3 of TC350. The Technical committe deals with the sustainability of construction works. Among other items, WG3 is the group preparing EN15804 for “Environmental Product Declarations”. As reported on the 2018 conference, the standard is under review at his time. The requirements will be extended widely in order to make products comparable as it is done in the “Product Environmental Footprint” scheme. Joachim Kieker joined the WG and the plenary meeting of TC350 on October 10th and 11th in Helsinki/Finland for the first time. It is of geat importance to keep the system of ARGE’s “industry representing EPDs” as a practicable tool for the sustainability aspects of construction hardware.
