ARGE meets 2 times with DG GROW

Since ARGE has direct access to the work of CEN/TC33/WG4, we managed to meet 2 times with the officials of DG GROW in order to discuss the future revision of mandate M101. Besides 2 other meetings of the TC we could discuss the special requirements of the construction hardware products standardization. The first meeting took place on July 24th, 2018 in Brussles. DG GROW was represented by Mr. Tapani Mikkeli, the Head of sector sustainable construction at Directorate General GROW at the European Commission. ARGE was represented by Hans Weissenboeck and Frédéric Ducloyer,representing the French hardware association. WG4 was represented by Ingé Lidén, Stephan >Schmidt and Pierre Vilain. We received a first advice in order to prepare a revised draft mandate for construction hardware products. In a second meeting taking place on August 23rd, 2018 WG 4 already presented a first draft of the mandate. This was then discussed in detail also in presence of Mr. Giancarlo Bedotti, who is the HAS consultant for our products.
