Conference Countdown

conference-countdown

With less than two weeks to go to the ARGE Annual Conference, ARGE is looking forward to seeing all members in Veneto on 4th and 5th September.

Following the success of last year’s conference in Budapest, ARGE hopes to receive an equally successful turnout, as delegates come together to discuss some of the industry’s most pressing issues.

Plus, with ASSOFERMA re-joining ARGE and committing to its EPD programme, alongside nine other national representatives this year looks sets to be one of the most successful conferences to date and provide real opportunity for discussion and progression, as ARGE heads towards its summer 2015 goal for generic, Pan-European EPDs.

EPDs will be critical in enabling hardware manufacturers to access the construction market and remain competitive in a market increasingly subject to European and international standards. So, ARGE is looking forward to presenting its progress report on the delivery of these and has invited two external speakers to present their views on the importance of this programme to our industry.

Delegates at this year’s conference will be able to enjoy the facilities and sights around Abano Terme and the nearby city of Padua, as well as the opportunity for excursions to Venice and tours of the local vineyards famed for their Prosecco.

This year’s host SILCA S.p.A. is also kindly putting on a tour of its factory in Vittorio Veneto, home to Europe’s largest manufacturing facility for key blanks, keys and key cutting machines.

Further details of the itinerary, programme and accommodation are available on the ARGE website, or follow the Linked In page for the latest information on this year’s conference.
