When must doorsets be CE marked?

External pedestrian doorsets, to EN 14351-1 have to be CE marked since 2010. The performances relative to essential requirements such as air permeability, water tightness, sound insulation,.., have to figure into the Declaration of Performance. The performances of fire resistance will be part of the EN 16034;

Internal pedestrian doorsets can’t be CE marked so far, since the prEN 14351-2 is still in progress to be published and cited into the OJEU.

External fire doors EN 16034 will be able to be CE marked from November 2016. Only the performances regarding fire resistance are contained into the EN 16034;.

Then CE Marking to EN16034 will be mandatory for external fire doors after the transition period of 3 years.

The internal fire doors will be able to be CE marked only when the prEN14351-2 is cited in OJEU (date TBC).
