ARGE Targets Set For 2015
ARGE has started 2015 as it means to continue!
January saw our first Executive Board meeting of 2015, with members meeting in Düsseldorf to set the foundations for the rest of the year. Keeping the momentum from 2014, the ARGE EPD project took centre stage and the steering group committed to the roadmap for its delivery.
Agreed at a meeting with Cetim in Berlin, toward the end of last year, the first draft of the Product Category Rules (PCRs) have been produced and will be submitted for IBU expert approval at a meeting on 12th February.
To aid the process approved data and product information is being collected from various manufacturers. Headed up by the Executive Board members, each is responsible for relating data from their respective countries’ manufacturers. We’re still on course with our EPD project and expect the first outputs of the project later in 2015.
In addition, the board also confirmed that the next ARGE conference is to be held from 10th to 11th September and hosted by the DHF in the UK.
