The 63rd Annual ARGE Conference

Conference Summary

The annual ARGE conference 2015 was held from 10th to 11th September in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Supported by the UK’s Door and Hardware Federation (DHF) the conference was a major success with over 60 delegatesin attendance. The conference included an update on ARGE’s plans for EPDs and an opportunity to hear first hand the benefits they will bring to members.

Social Programme

Known for being the birthplace of Shakespeare, the picturesque market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, is situated along the banks of the river Avon.

With over 800 years of history this year’s social programme offered something for everyone.

Delegates were able to take an open top bus tour, taking in sights such as Shakespeare’s birthplace, Anne Hathaway’sCottage, Mary Arden’s Farm & Countryside Museum, River Avon and Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the Maybird Shopping Park.

Thursday evening saw all guests enjoy dinner at Sulgrave Manor in the form of a Tudor Feast with live entertainment.

On the last day of the conference, attendees had the choice between touring the Land Rover Factory or a visit to Warwick Castle.

The annual conference concluded with the river cruise and dinner down the Avon.
