Here at ARGE we value our members’ opinions and constantly look to improve our communications and the work we do. With this in mind we conducted a post-conference survey, to evaluate our annual event. We’re pleased to say the results are overwhelmingly positive…

More than 60% of participants responded to the survey, which is very pleasing and demonstrates a high level of engagement.

Even more pleasing, was that 64% of respondents evaluated their overall satisfaction with the conference as “excellent” and a further 30% rating it as “good”. These positive results were mirrored when asked about the conference topics and the venue.

As expected, the topic of standardisation was voted as the most important, followed by the CEN/TC33/WG4 progress, the EPD update and the security guideline for master key systems.

This year, the conference adopted a structure that was also used at the 2017 event, featuring two half days of the business programme and a half day excursion. 90% of delegates agreed that this format was preferred and worked well.

In terms of improving the conference for 2019, 60% of participants felt there could be more business and product related content. Many cited the entrepreneurship lecture held by Professor Balkenende as a particular highlight and would appreciate more content like this at future events. In addition, most delegates would like to see an even bigger turn out and suggestions were also made about introducing a short focus on country or project specific issues.

We’re pleased to say that overall the feedback has been extremely positive, and as an organization, members feel we are moving in the right direction. So much so, that 100% of respondents plan to join us at our conference in Bonn in 2019.

Don’t forget to save the date for the 2019 Conference. Being held from 5th-7thSeptember at the Hotel Kameha Grand, in Bonn – we look forward to seeing you there!
