Registration is now open for the ARGE Conference, which will take place from 14th to 15th September in Salzburg. Hosted by Berufsgruppe Schlösser und Beschlagindustrie (BSB) of the Austrian Association FMTI, the official invite and registration forms can be downloaded from the events pages

To ensure you don’t miss out on your place at this year’s conference all members are encouraged to complete and return the registration forms as soon as possible. All forms should be returned to wenner@fmti.at

To celebrate our 65th Conference we will be looking to the future and addressing the critical issue of ARGE’s vision for 2020, so our theme will be ‘Changing the Game’

The business programme, which promises to be lively and thought provoking, will also include an update over the two days on the progress of the four future agenda proposals introduced at the 2016 Conference, as well as a report on the EPD roll-out. The conference will be an opportunity to actively engage in shaping ARGE’s future agenda so the format will be interactive and delegates will be asked to feedback on decisions driving our future direction

To provide added context to the progress and feedback, Christophe Sykes, Director General of Construction Products Europe (CPE) will deliver a seminar on the ‘Trends in the Construction Industry in Europe.’

After the conclusion of the AGM on the second day, delegates will be treated to two highly topical guest lectures – ‘Doing business with Russia – quo vadis?’ delivered by Dr. Dietmar Fellner, former Commercial Counsellor of Austria in Russia and ‘Digital transformation effecting our industry’ presented by Dr. Andreas Häberli, Chief Technology Officier of Dormakaba Group.

Hosted at the Hotel Crowne Plaza Salzburg – The Pitter, delegates will also have chance to explore the beautiful city of Salzburg, as well as a factory tour of MACO, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of window and door hardware. To round off two dynamic days, there will be a gala dinner held in the Imlauer Sky Bar at the Crowne Plaza, followed by dinner at the oldest restaurant in Salzburg, Blaue Gans, on the second night.

The full itinerary and joining instructions can be downloaded from the events section and we would encourage all delegates to confirm their attendance and travel arrangements as soon as possible.

At our 65th Conference we will challenge what the future looks like for ARGE and our industry, and we hope you will be there to be a part of it.
