What’s been happening at ARGE?

It’s been a busy month at ARGE…

As we build up to our annual conference in Budapest this September, the working groups have been busy developing their suggestions for delivering generic EPDs. So far we have three suggested offerings for delivering these generic hardware EPDs, which will be crucial for the industry in light of recent legislatve changes.

The documents will be discussed and a decision made at the conference in September. You can view the documents in the Members section of the website or better still register to attend the conference.

A second piece of news from ARGE is that we now have direct points of contact with the European Commission Services. ARGE now has the chance to approach leaders responsible for the relevant departments at the Commissions Services and CEN. As a PAN European Business Associate, ARGE neither represents the interests of one country or company and is therefore in the fortunate position of being able to discuss relevant industry matters with them. Experts will meet with Commissions delegates in Brussels this September in order to find practical and expeditious solutions.

We are also in the process of putting together the final preparations for the annual conference in September. There is still chance to regsiter to join us in Budapest and all the information can be found on the ARGE website.

We’ll have more updates for you soon…
