ARGE EPD Draft Already Available
With this year’s ARGE conference just a few weeks away, you don’t have long to wait to hear the latest on our route to EPDs.
ARGE project consultant, CETIM is currently busy beavering away to come up with “pre-verified” EPD drafts to be presented at the event.
The first draft of the product category rules (PCR) covering our 14 product groups has sent to IBU and is now simply awaiting pre-verification by the group of independent experts.
It is still in question which “declared unit” should be covered, whether it is a unit, length (m), or mass (kg) of a hardware product – or all three of them depending on the product. ARGE is pending to propose that it would be limited to 1kg of product mass.
